Join Happy Reading Children’s Bookshop to celebrate the Lunar New Year with one of their Bookshop BFFs, children's illustrator, Natelle Quek at Staple in St Peters

11am - 11.45am & 1pm - 1.45pm

'Welcoming the Lunar New Year' is written by food writer and chef, Lara Lee, and illustrated by Natelle Quek, published by Walker Books.

This is a heartwarming story all about Lunar New Year around the world and a special time of fun and togetherness with family and friends.

The book includes a recipe and dragon craft activity.

Recommended for: Ages 4+

Ticket includes a FREE signed copy of the book (RRP £7.99)

The bookshop is on the first floor, accessed via a flight of stairs.

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.

Adults may stay for the event (limited seating available) or relax with a coffee and pastry downstairs in Staple.
