A rare chance to visit the Church and gardens which are opening to the public for Heritage Open Days.
10am - 5pm
Aside from the occasional service, the Church is only rarely open, and it is of great historical interest having been designed by the famous architect, Sir George Gilbert Scott, in 1846-1847. The building is of ragstone with slate roof and tower with magnificent shingled spire.
The Church and its gardens will be open the whole day and there will be stalls including specialist plants, local artists and crafts, a White Elephant stand and more!
Thanet Swifts will also be in attendance, as Christchurch hosts an important colony of these endangered birds.
'Oh Yeah!' Pop-Up will be serving locally sourced light lunches and refreshments and there will be an alternative jazz performance from Lucy Taylor & Theo Gordon from 1pm - 3pm
