Grade 2 listed Glasshouse in Ramsgate open for viewing as part of Heritage Open Days.
10am - 4pm both days
The beautifully restored Glasshouse was erected in the grounds of East Cliff Lodge, Sir Moses Montefiore’s 22 acre estate in 1832. Sir Moses, an important British financier and former Sheriff of London bought the magnificent structure from another impressive house, Bretton Hall in Yorkshire. During the open weekend there will be an exhibition by local artists in the garden and greenhouse - 'The Garden of Earthly Delights - ceramics, prints and drawings by Bimba Champion, Rupert Willard & Death Row Ceramics.'
On street parking nearby. Access to the glasshouse is via King George VI Memorial Park.
