Heritage Open Days: Spencer Square (21)

21st September 2025

The historic Spencer Square in Ramsgate will be celebrating its connections with Van Gogh who lived her for a time.

11am - 6pm 

Enjoy the wonderful gardens of Spencer Square. Visitors to the square with an interest in art and history will enjoy spotting the two blue plaques on the properties around the square that denote where Vincent van Gogh lodged and worked when he was in Ramsgate. 

Explore the ‘After Dunkirk’ art show with themed artworks. On the Tennis Courts, try tennis from 1pm with a free taster session and watch a Championship level tennis match at 3pm.

Refreshments available from the licensed Vincent’s café.

On street parking nearby.
