All sessions run from 10 am – 2 pm, with 10 am – 11 am as a quiet hour.
The first hour of all Home Educator Days has been set aside as a quiet hour, designed for families with SEND. This calmer time has fewer visitors and provides a supportive environment for families and groups with SEND to enjoy their visit. Feedback helps to tailor visits to meet the children’s learning needs, ensuring the Museum is an enjoyable and enriching experience for everyone.
The Museum will be closed to the public and open only for the Home Education group.
Friday Opening
Quex and Powell-Cotton will also be open each Friday from 21st February to 31stOctober 2026. Although these are not exclusively for home-educating families, they are another opportunity to include a visit to our Museum within the home-learning programme.
