To celebrate International Women’s Day, Sandwich Bay Ranger Helena is teaming up with Education Officer Faye from Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory to offer a free guided walk at Pegwell Bay Country Park.
10am - 12pm
You will be looking out for birds and other wildlife, giving you the chance to boost your skills and confidence in wildlife identification, discover a new place, and connect with nature and like-minded people.
This event is LGBTQ+ inclusive, and is open to women of all backgrounds and experience levels – from seasoned birders to those just starting their wildlife journey.
All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
It is free to attend but spaces on the walk are limited so please book your space.
Please remember to cancel if you can no longer attend, so other people might be able to come along.
The walk will last approximately 2 hours – plenty of time to feel inspired and empowered to protect wildlife.
Meeting point:
Pegwell Bay Country Park, Sandwich Road, Cliffsend, Ramsgate CT12 5JB.
Meet in the car park – look out for the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership van, or Bird Wise East Kent.
