A relaxed garden painting workshop responding to nature's prompts at the Garden Gate in Margate
11am - 3pm
Lisa Hawkins will help you to connect with nature and your creativity, exploring spirit of place and interpreting this little secluded paradise in Thanet.
The workshop will explore how we experience a place through our senses of sight, smell, touch and even taste translating those experiences through drawing and painting.
Working outside (if the weather permits), so please bring warm clothes as April can be chilly (there are polytunnels to work under cover if it rains or is too breezy.)
The workshop includes homemade refreshments, and there is access to facilities, tea shed and toilets. The garden will not be open to the public during the workshop.
Please bring your own painting materials and sketchbooks, there are chairs and tables around to use but you may wish to bring a little fold up stool.
The Garden Gate is a independent registered charity community garden based in Northdown Park.
