Gate opens at 8am all days, the track goes live at 10am. Race until done, usually 5/6pm
A Gathering of Europe's finest VW Air Cooled powered drag racing machines. No cheap thrills or gimmicks this event is all about getting as much power out of the humble flat four engine and then transferring it into forward motion.
They will be running classes to suit all. 1/8th mile no prep style to full 1/4 with a Pro Tree. There will be trophies and cash prizes for most classes and a huge cash payout for the pay to enter with second round buy back so long as 16 cars enter and qualify.
Take this opportunity to baseline your car a month ahead of Belgium's EBI. All Air Cooled VWs will get priority and unlimited runs on Friday. Saturday and Sunday are two separate race days, with everything reset each morning.
Bargain rate ticket prices and sign on / race entry and you can pay on the gate. But it is recommended you pay in advance (They will randomly draw from the advanced ticket sales on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and pay you back your ticket money)

Camaraderie is everything - it doesn't matter if you're coming to watch, to RWYB for the first time or go head to head in the Pro Classes ACT One is where it's at for hard-core proper VW Drag Racing.
THIS EVENT WILL ALSO FEATURE THE FOLLOWING 1/4 mile RWYB (track fee applies, rwyb all day, unlimited runs) featuring the 1/4 mile Flowtech street car shootout and all of the 1/8th mile No-Prep competition classes, BOTH days. The Flowtech Street car shootout is COMPLETELY FREE TO ENTER just put your name down in the signing on office during the lunch break. All pairings will be drawn out of the famous hat for every round so they are always randomised. Decent Trophies for Winner and runner-up. A sixteen and above car count for the Flowtech Street Car Shootout will result in prize money being given courtesy of their sponsor.
No-Prep is heads up, no rules other than tire size, 1/8th mile heads up doorslamer drag racing. They race both days and have eliminations both days. NEW for 2026 all No-Prep classes are FREE to enter providing you have paid your RWYB track fee. Trophies for winner and runner up, Prize money is subject to sponsors for individual classes.
Excluding No-Prep classes, all drivers will receive a detailed timing ticket courtesy of the new for 2026 Race America LED timing system.
