Manston Drag Racing: RWYB and Street Car Shootout

Event at Manston Raceway Park... Grass roots heads up drag racing at its' very best!

Gate opens at 8am, the track goes live at 10am. Race until done, usually 5/6pm

The original South London Retro Crew, keeping the Retro and Classic Car scene alive and kicking! Originating in South London, and now well known throughout the UK, with many followers from all over the country, they are an all makes inclusive group, but especially love an old tuned & modified Classic Ford! They have large group displays at the biggest show events through the year and also hold their own regular well known Sunday morning breakfast cruises. If you have a fast Classic Ford then come along and have some 1/4 mile heads up action, with some of the best known and quickest Classic Fords in the UK!

Any other classic make or model is more than welcome!

Come and join in 2026 for some proper grass roots No Prep 1/4 mile action this year at Manston Park Raceway!

1/4 mile RWYB (track fee applies, rwyb all day, unlimited runs) featuring the 1/4 mile street car shootout. The Street car shootout is COMPLETELY FREE TO ENTER just put your name down in the signing on office during the lunch break. All pairings will be drawn out of our famous hat for every round so they are always randomised. Decent Trophies for Winner and runner-up. A sixteen and above car count for the Street Car Shootout will result in prize money being given courtesy of Retro Power Motorsports.

A show and shine and clubstand area will be available for any pre booked clubs.
