Cliftonville Community Centre hosts another great party night for Margate Radio
Help celebrate Margate Radio's 6th year on air...
After a belter of a birthday last year, Margate Radio are back at Cliftonville Community Centre with a serious get down for the whole town.
Margate Radio is 6! Join us to celebrate one more year around the sun for our community radio station - one more year of broadcasting live three days a week (but listening 24/7!), one more year of live shows and dancing, one more year of discovering and sharing Margate's musical spirit - all made possible by the energy, commitment, creativity and sheer love for the thing offered up by our community. It's vitally important to preserve initiatives like this - from the community, for the community...
Once again, Margate Radio are thrilled to have Jah B's Margatone Hi Fi for the occasion and a stellar lineup of Margate Radio hosts playing only the finest selections all evening and making sure the vibes are just right.
* DJs: Jah B, Tim Garrett & Shirley Ottou (blasé), Sophie Stirling, Rob of Stereo MC's
* The ever-wonderful Perfect Place to Grow will be supplying culinary delights (so come hungry!), and
* Big Shot will be handling the drinks, with beer courtesy of Floc and a special rum punch from Kromanti (so come thirsty!)
* FREE CAN OF FLOC FOR THE FIRST 20 THROUGH THE DOOR! *
All funds raised will go towards operational costs and keeping Margate Radio alive and flourishing into the future.
