Join the Secret Garden Centre at Quex Park for a lovely morning of moths combined with a nursery tour
8.45am - 9.45am
There are around 2,500 species of moth in the UK! 2,182 of which have been caught in Kent.
Many moths are completely unknown to most people as they fly at night. However, they play an important part in pollinating plants.
Bob Dean and Bob Hinge are Birchington 'mothers' who together have caught nearly 400 species in and around their suburban gardens. Most moths are attracted to light and identified (not always easily!) then released, unharmed.
