Master Peace is the London-born singer-songwriter known for his genre-blurring blend of indie sleaze, punk-edged energy, dance-punk rhythms and raw indie rock.
Born Peace Okezie and raised across South-East London, Morden and Surrey, he cultivates a sound rooted in both rap and indie staples like Bloc Party and Arctic Monkeys. Starting out with rap-style experimentation like rapping over a-ha’s “Take On Me” in 2018 he evolved through acclaimed EPs including Love Bites (2020), Public Display Of Affection (2021) and Peace Of Mind (2023) before dropping his debut album How To Make A Master Peace in 2024, a record praised for its bold mix of club-ready grooves and lyrical introspection.
His debut LP broke into the UK top 30 and earned him the Rising Star Award at the Ivor Novello Awards cementing his status as a rising force in British indie. Equally compelling live, Master Peace has shared stages with the likes of The Streets on Kasabian’s arena tour, building an electrifying reputation driven by swaggering hooks, fearless experimentation and a magnetic stage presence that demands attention.
