'What are people supposed to do when on our screens every day we see a genocide unfolding, one of the worst crimes a human society can commit?
Yet no government will do anything to stop it. However surreal my drawings get, the reality is more extreme. I don’t know what to do except be an activist. My area of expertise is art, so I turn art towards activism. For socialism and for Palestine. For the same reason. Humanity. The drive of my drawings, with their dual concern for an abiding impact of narrative content on the one hand and formal (visual) content on the other'
