The fifth annual Alt Valentines exhibition at The Lido Stores in Margate.

Open: Thursday - Saturday 11am -4pm

This year’s line‑up has been selected from more than 1,200 submissions by gallery owner‑curator Kristen Healy, who will soon transform Galleries 1 and 2 with works from over 120 artists.

This edition of Memento Amoris is set to be their most expansive yet – a vibrant cross‑section of contemporary art practices from a truly fantastic cadre of artists. “The Alt Valentines show has grown rapidly from a fun, light start to the year, to an exhibition with real depth and quality,” says Healy, “albeit it’s important that we want to keep that ethos and retain a bit of levity – it’s January, it’s cold and it’s dark and there’s enough going on in the world!”

Opening reception on Saturday 7 February 2026, 7–9pm. The exhibition then runs until 15 March.
