An exhibition celebrating motherhood, memory and the ways we connect to inherited wisdom at Joseph Wales Studio in Margate

Open daily 11am - 4pm

Bringing together printmaker and tattoo artist Martha Smith and ceramic artist Charlie Russell, it offers two perspectives on what it means to create, to nurture and to be transformed by those experiences.

Through painting, printmaking and ceramic sculpture, the works explore the realities of pregnancy, birth and working motherhood alongside the stories, rituals and inherited wisdom passed through maternal lines and the many ways these shape our lives.
