Join Bird Wise East Kent for a free guided coastal birdwatching walk, starting at Turner Contemporary and following Margate’s stunning coastline. Discover the incredible variety of bird species that call East Kent home throughout the year, as well as the remarkable migratory birds that travel thousands of miles to spend time on our shores.
Along the way, you’ll explore some of the best local spots for birdwatching, learn how to identify coastal species, and uncover the fascinating stories behind their journeys and behaviours. You’ll also find out how we can all play a part in protecting these birds and their habitats, helping to ensure future generations can enjoy them.
Whether you’re new to birdwatching or a seasoned wildlife enthusiast, this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with East Kent’s unique coastal wildlife and learn more about the birds that make our coastline so special.
