A quarterly celebration of feel-good dance music at the Margate Arts Club

Welcome to Optimissimo, a celebration of feel-good dance music... It's back - bigger, brighter, and partying all day and night!

For the second edition, Optimissimo is brought to you in two halves:

BY DAY — FAMILY-FRIENDLY PARTY... 3pm – 7pm

Free! A joyful daytime celebration for families and friends. Kids welcome. Grown-ups encouraged to dance too.

Expect Soul, Funk, Afro-beat and a few guilty pleasures, alongside a few surprises too!

BY NIGHT — ADULTS ONLY PARTY... 8pm - late

When the sun goes down, we turn the energy up. Expect cosmic Disco, uplifting House, wonky Electro and Indie-dance - grooves to make you move.

Join us for either party or the whole day and night.

Whichever you choose, Optimissimo is about coming together, letting go, and sharing the simple joy of moving as one. And that’s needed now more than ever.

DRESS CODE FOR BOTH PARTIES: FESTIVAL FUN... Sequins, hats, wigs, glitter, tassels, faux fur… Wear whatever makes you feel brightest.
