This show presents recent paintings by Charlie Evaristo-Boyce, marking a focused shift into the medium after joining Turps Margate. These works are a personal odyssey exploring his identity through expressive mark-making and fluid strokes.

After a trip to Nigeria, he began playfully weaving his Yoruba heritage into the canvas telling stories with vivid palettes, rhythmic patterns, exaggerated features, and naive folk-art energy, all carrying unpolished emotional urgency.

Zoe Murphy's shop on the ground floor will also be open with an exciting selection of artworks and goods.
