Make your own pinhole camera and explore Margate in this half day photography workshop at The Margate School.
11am - 4pm
In this workshop you will explore the wonder of analogue photography in a hands-on way. Using recycled materials you will start by making your very own pinhole camera. You will then take your pinhole camera to take a series of unique photos in central Margate before processing them in the Margate School of Art darkroom.
As well as a creative and tactile experience, this workshop is a great introduction to the darkroom and photographic process and is suitable for any level of photographer. As well as your camera, you will have a set of completely unique photographs to take home with you.
Breakdown of workshop:
No previous experience of analogue photography is required and all photographic paper and chemistry are provided.
