Join Connor the Ecologist for a Queer Ecology tour of Margate, plus fun with Bi-Curious George at the Crab Museum...
11.30am & 3pm
Join the Crab Museum for a guided 'Queer Ecology' tour around Margate with Connor the Ecologist, to explore the diverse and unusual lifecycles of plants and animals.
Then back to the Museum for Bi-Curious George's slimy exploration of trans-masculinity, hormones and being a pest. Celebrate sensuality, rotting and renewal in this drag-comedy that offers queer alternatives for anyone with a body.
Each session will start at the Crab Museum at the designated start times.
From there, Connor will lead the talk around town/parks/seaside for around 45 minutes to an hour.
Then back to the Museum for George's performance, with general Q&A afterwards.
Connor the Ecologist is a Queer entomologist and nature guide. He studies dung beetles and tries to connect people with the gross and misunderstood parts of the natural world.

Once described by Graham Norton as "energetic and charming" and by The Spectator as "a chap, or maybe not a chap", Bi-Curious George is an award-winning Drag King whose work centres around queer ecology. Through drag, comedy and theatre he shatters the heteronormative lens through which we view the natural world, and empowers people to reframe their identities and their relationships to ‘nature’.
