Join the Ramsgate Tunnels Team for a guided walk along the entire length of the 1863 mainline railway tunnel

There are features of both specific and general interest, including the mysterious monolith.

The main tunnel is two-thirds of a mile long, with the far end being just inside the Broadstairs boundary. Whether you live locally or beyond, why not join a different kind of walk between Ramsgate and Broadstairs?

This tour can take up to two hours. Owing to the uneven nature of the tunnel floor sensible shoes should be worn for the 1.5 mile long tour and remember to dress warmly. Torches will be supplied although you are welcome to bring your own.

We do not recommend this tour for those with mobility issues or for children under the age of 10. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
