Ramsgate Festival of Sound

This festival brings a veritable smorgasbord of events to Ramsgate every year, suitable for a wide range of audiences

In 2026 they return for their 9th annual run, this time celebrating the architecture of the eclectic seaside town, with a community of equally passionate creatives.

The Sonic Trail is open throughout the three days from 12pm - 4pm: Explore Ramsgate through unique sound installations, created by 8 commissioned artists exploring the theme of "Everyday Histories" as part of Heritage Open Days.

Busk Until Dusk will run from 12pm -6.30pm on 12th September: For one day and one day only, the town's pubs and independent venues will come alive with live music and local ales, with performances from: Ari, Kingfisher, Tez, Callum Sutton, Sucker, Taiko Dunlopo, Lucy Taylor, Diet Jesus, Gaddzukes, Django Durrant, Andrea Kempson, Stack of Pallets, Thanet Jubilee Singers, Steph Dickinson, Chidimma, Witchita Grand, Will Rees, Lucy Union + more from our emerging artist stage: Teenage Kicks.

Winterstoke Gardens Family Day 10am - 9pm also on 12th September: Ready for an unforgettable day (and night!) of music, food, and performance? Perched right on the scenic East Cliff, this extravaganza of local talent is the perfect place to see & feel the love our community has for our hometown.

The Big Gospel Sing on Sunday 13th September: Bringing an incredible afternoon of live music and community connection to the festival, Sabina Désir & Jessica Lauren will guide you through an unforgettable gospel singing experience.
