The improvised music open mic where anything goes... at Olby's Soul Cafe in Margate

7pm - 9.30pm

An improvised music event where performers sign up on the night. Performers are grouped together and allocated 5 minute sets – all to be completely improvised. Anything goes!

SKRONK was founded in 2016 and has provided a free entry and fully inclusive performance experience for hundreds of people.

SKRONK started as music improvisation night but quickly became a place where people could get on stage for the first time, try new things, start new projects and SKRONK grew to include SKRONKDANCE, SKRONKSPEAK, SKRONKTRONIC and other variations encompassing all types of performance.

We can’t wait for the Margate edition.

Upstairs at Olby’s is a series of free community events every Thursday Feb-March 2026, at Olby’s Soul Cafe. Donations are welcomed on the night.
