The first Small Works Exhibition at the Margaret Bryan Gallery, Margate Caves, includes 57 artists
10am - 5pm
Small Wonders brings together the work of 57 artists from across the UK and mainland Europe, who responded to an open call on the theme of science and the natural world.
The Margaret Bryan Gallery is named after a trailblazing natural philosopher and educator, who lived on the Margate Caves site in the 18th Century.
She ran a boarding school there for young women, teaching astronomy and the sciences, a radical pursuit at the time.
The Small Wonders exhibition continues in the spirit of her school, encouraging creativity in an inspiring space.
