Somethingski Trio is a musical project led by vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Nikodem Soszyński, known among others for his collaboration with Freeborn Brothers

In 2020, the band released their debut album “THINGS,” One of the tracks from the album, “Na Dolinach,” gained popularity and reached first place on the Podkarpacka Chart.

In 2022, Somethingski Trio, in collaboration with award-winning folk vocalist Daria Kosiek, recorded and released the album “PUSZCZA.” The material, based on traditional folk music from the Lasowiacy region, was presented in a modern interpretation. Thanks to this album, the band received widespread acclaim and qualified for the prestigious “Mikołajki Folkowe 2022” competition.

At the beginning of 2023, the band released their second album, “Howl We Are Free,” featuring two singles: “Holy, Holy” and “Od Północy do Południa.” The latter remained on the Radio Rzeszów chart for several weeks.

So far, the band has performed in many European countries, including Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovakia, France, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom, as well as in Brazil. They have also appeared at prestigious festivals such as Muddy Roots Festival 2022, Roots in Het Park 2022, Broken Necks Festival 2023, Jarmark Garncarski 2022, Zilleghem Folk Festival 2023, Cursus Festival 2023, Rockowisko 2023, and Folkowisko 2025.
