Ammonite Adventures - Fossilised ammonite shells can be found all around the world. Now extinct they are related to today’s squids and octopuses. These salt dough ones are easy to make. Be inspired by real ammonites from the museum! Follow Lester’s Trail and find fossils and dinosaurs on the reserve.

Pine Cone Fairies - Using a pine cone from the reserve bring your fairy to life! Then follow The Hideaway Hunt to search for 8 sculptures of Fairy Homes. Match the image on a sticker to add to your trail leaflet.

Dancing Dragonflies - Craft a dancing dragonfly. Find out about the lifecycle of the dragonfly. Visit the pond to look for dragonfly nymphs and dragonfly exoskeletons. Be a dragonfly detective – how many can you spot on the reserve?

Wild Classroom - Campfire cooking at its best. Experience this tasty, fire-fuelled lunch, together, outdoors, with the reserve as your back-drop. This lunchtime prepare to rustle up summer vegetable wraps and (not too) spicy potatoes!
