Join Nicci at Happy Reading Children’s Bookshop in St Peters to celebrate the companion to 'The Suitcase' from the creator of Frank and Bert!

8.30am - 9am

An evocative story of hope that reminds us everyone has a story to tell, wherever they come from.

This week's creative activity will be inspired by the story's theme of refugees and migration that challenges challenges unconscious bias; with special thanks to Nosy Crow for the lovely activity sheet!

A lovingly crafted picture book that challenges unconscious bias with its simplicity and a heartfelt message - children and their parents will love, and learn from, The Teacup.

The bookshop is on the first floor, accessed via a flight of stairs.

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.

Adults may stay for the event (limited seating available) or relax with a coffee and pastry downstairs in Staple.
