The Big Bike Revival

Free bike fix and cycling events around the Isle Of Thanet, funded by Cycling UK.

Thanet District Council is running free Big Bike Revival Events in Summer 2025 to help you get your bike fixed and for you to feel more confident cycling short journeys. 

Click individual events to learn more and book:

  • Wednesday 28th May - The Big Bike Revival Free Bike Fix at Westgate Library
  • Sunday 1st June - Ramsgate Big Bike Revival Free 1 hour guided bike ride
  • Sunday 1st June - The Big Bike Revival - Free Bike Fix at Queens Head Ramsgate
  • Saturday 7th June - The Big Bike Revival Free Bike Fix at Pavillion Community Cafe, St Peters
  • Friday 13th June - Cycle Del Margate - Sunset Cycle Ride
  • Sunday 15th June - Ride Margate E-Bike Tour and Brunch for Oasis Domestic Abuse
  • Saturday 21st June - POW Festival The Big Bike Revival Free led Bike Ride Tour - Ramsgate​
  • Saturday 21st June - POW Festival The Big Bike Revival Free Bike Fix at Ellington Park Ramsgate 
  • Sunday 13th July - Ride Margate E-Bike Tour and Brunch for NHS Staff and Volunteers
  • Saturday 26th July - Thanet Games - The Big Bike Revival Free Bike Fix at Dane Park Margate
  • Sunday 27th July - Ramsgate Carnival - The Big Bike Revival - Free Bike Fix at Harbour Bikes
