Ramsgate Tunnels

Making a welcome return after its successful debut at Ramsgate Tunnels last year

10am - 4pm

Miniature traction engines will be running on the promenade beside the tunnels and at Ramsgate Harbour, just along the road.

They will be joined at the tunnels by miniature steam trains operated by both Canterbury and Ramsgate model engineering societies.

The free to enter model railway exhibition, showing 10-12 layouts, will be held in the tunnels themselves.

Rides on the miniature traction engines and miniature steam trains cost £1 per person.

Admission to the tunnels is free but a donation is always appreciated.

The tunnels will be organising its well known tunnels tours throughout the weekend – pre-booking is required – and the usual charges will apply for these events.
