Join 1927 Studios at ARK for a special screening of their latest creation, Turangalîla - Infinite Love

7.30pm - 9.30pm

Following its critically acclaimed premiere at the Southbank Centre with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, next week the film comes to Cliftonville for one night only as a fund-raiser for a collaborative project with young people in Cliftonville.

Inspired by Olivier Messiaen’s monumental symphony, 1927 have created an epic cinematic work full of surreal imagery, wild experimentation and emotional intensity. Expect heroes and villains, death and desire, art and chaos, and above all, love.

All funds raised from this screening will directly support the launch of a new creative programme for young people in Cliftonville, starting in Summer 2026 at ARK.

This collaboration between 1927 Studios, ARK and Margate Film Festival will offer local children and young people hands-on opportunities to explore filmmaking, animation and storytelling with world-class professional artists and makers – with their film premiering at Margate Film Festival in November 2026. As Thanet’s creative industries continue to grow, they want to ensure all local young people have the opportunity to be part of that future.
