Explore and reinvent at Little Ravens in Ramsgate

11am - 12.30pm

Many years ago women were not allowed into science and engineering.

Some women were not celebrated for their own art or inventions!

This is an opportunity to look back and celebrate the women who were first recognised and recorded for their inventions.

And with some of their inventions we celebrate with art!

Explore the Q tip invention and the story behind its invention... then create art following some simple directions.

Alongside this, look and talk about the coffee filter and again make some creations in the form of beautiful flowers and butterflies.

By adding fun inks patterns and cutting techniques - explore and reinvent.
