Margate’s new underground house night (hosted by House Dog) with house music royalty Smokin Jo for an intimate basement session at Hoffs

A true pioneer of the scene, Smokin Jo was one of the first female DJs to break through during the 1990s, and remains right at the cutting edge today, with recent peak-time releases on Toolroom & Faith.

Known for seamlessly blending chunky, tracky, driving House music, Jo remains the only female DJ to ever win DJ Magazine’s coveted DJ Of The Year award.

Alongside her, House Dog opens the room with a vinyl-only buildup. His thumpin’ blends of proper House & heavenly Garage have already been clocking up thousands of views online, rooted deeply in 1990’s dance culture and loaded with raw underground energy.
