East London Shakespeare Festival presents...
Bursting with mischief, chaos, romance and magic, this joyful, family-friendly outdoor production re-imagines Shakespeare’s hilarious comedy with a bold splash of contemporary flair.
Escape into the enchanted forest alongside Hermia, Lysander, Helena and Demetrius as they get more than they bargained for, when a vibrant cast of magical woodland fairies take matters into their own hands.
With ELSF’s signature high-energy numbers, slapstick comedy, and audience participation, this is Shakespeare for everyone!
There's also a community engagement programme running alongside the tour, with lots of opportunities to get involved.

Broadstairs Bandstand is a beautiful seaside venue in Broadstairs - overlooking Viking Bay - that combines free live music and community events with a relaxed café atmosphere. Known as a local gathering spot, it offers visitors a place to enjoy performances, fresh ground coffee, and Jersey ice cream while taking in the town’s coastal charm. It has the feel of a traditional Bandstand brought into modern use, serving as both an entertainment space and a casual social hub for residents and holidaymakers alike.
Thanks to generous funding from Broadstairs and St Peters Town Council and Pierremont Hall, this performance will be free, so just turn up and enjoy 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'!
