The world’s favourite family-friendly cat-themed film event leaps joyfully in through the Palace cat flap for this year’s Festival of Cats for a special event which could feature YOUR cat, too!

Cats being sneaky, cats being reckless, cats being acrobats, cats climbing on things they maybe shouldn’t, cats being helpful about the house… CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos selected from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses.

Now in its 10th year, it’s a joyous communal experience for cat fans that’s only available in cinemas.

Reaching paws across the oceans, it has screened at hundreds of venues across the US and Europe, raising over £110,000 since 2019 for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities and animal welfare organisations... 10% of every ticket sold for this event goes to the Festival’s chosen charity, Cats in Crisis Thanet.

FAQ: Can I bring my cat?

No, no you can’t, we’re afraid. BUT if you email one favourite hi res photo of your cat (jpeg, png) to info@thepalacecinema.co.uk by Sun 26 April then they’ll add it to a special Palace showreel of local cats on the big screen before the show starts!
