The Sunken Garden

Spend a lovely morning counting butterflies at the Sunken Gardens in Westbrook, Margate

10am to 12 noon

Find time to spend time in the outdoors, no experience is necessary and all ages and skill levels are welcome.

All tools and gardening equipment is provided, along with guidance from friendly gardeners.

There will be charts to hand to aid you in identifying the butterflies for 15 minutes in the Garden before you add your findings to the national survey that contributes to conservation science and research.

The Sunken Garden is a community coastal green space. Volunteers meet monthly to look after the Sunken Garden and host the autumn Sunken Garden Eco Fair.
