Join the Forest Bathing session at Monkton Nature Reserve, led by Louise Jones.
10.30am - 12pm
Forest Bathing is a gentle, guided experience inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku. Forest Bathing can reduce stress and help calm the nervous system. By slowing down and engaging the senses in nature, it can improve mood, support mental wellbeing and foster a deeper sense of connection to the natural world.
A bit about me – I am a qualified Forest Bathing Guide, trained through a company called ‘Nature and Therapy’. I have always spent time in nature and this lifelong connection shapes the calm, grounded way I guide others through the forest. I also work for Kent Wildlife Trust and I am a trained Forest School teacher, bringing a gentle, sensory-led and inclusive approach to each session. My Forest Bathing walks are slow and welcoming, offering space to rest, reconnect and experience the quiet wellbeing that comes from being fully present with the natural world.
