Celebrate National Poetry Day with a selection of performers both celebrated and up and coming at The Best of Times Bookshop in Broadstairs

7pm - 9pm, doors from 6.30pm

Book a slot to perform your own work on the theme of 'wonder' (interpret this any way you like.) Or just grab a drink and enjoy the huge range of poetic and musical talent that Thanet has to offer.

Guest Poets include:

Maggie Harris “Formally inventive; always lyrical.” Winner of the Jhalak Prize.

Jessica Taggart-Rose, whose The River Has No Colour was recently translated by the Poetry Book Society.

Poppy Cockburn, Longlisted for the Jerwood Prize for First Collection.

Tracey McEvoy, author of Tell Us About Snow, “an impressive, stunning debut pamphlet.”

With music and poetry from Ty & Ayesha Watling.

NB: Open performance slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
