What do you know about wild orchids: their life cycles, where to find them, and how to identify them? Discover all this and more at Monkton Nature Reserve.

Kent has an extraordinary diversity of orchid species. This day will provide an introduction to a range of local orchids and their complex pollination behaviours, including looking for some in flower at Monkton.
An indoor session at will cover:
In the afternoon, we will search for some of the 11 orchid species found at Monkton, including seven species which should be in flower in early June.
