Join local artist Alice Starobina at Happy Reading Children's Bookshop for a creative recycling art workshop inspired by our oceans!

11am - 12 noon

Perfect for children aged 4–11, this hands-on workshop invites young artists to transform found and recycled materials into bold, eye-catching posters celebrating our seas and encouraging us all to care for the natural world.

Through collage, colour, texture and creative design, children will discover how art can tell powerful stories and inspire positive change.

During the session, the responsible adult(s) are very welcome to enjoy their favourite coffee and pastry downstairs at STAPLE or come and hang out upstairs in the bookshop!!

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.

Booking is essential — spaces are limited!
