Join award-winning author Sam at Happy Reading Children's Bookshop for a joyful celebration of his uplifting new picture book!

11am - 11.45am

Perfect for children aged 3–6, this fun-filled event includes an interactive storytime followed by a creative activity inspired by the book.

Bursting with rhythm, laughter and a colourful cast of animal characters, The Perfect Performance, illustrated by Emily Knight, is a heartwarming celebration of kindness, confidence and discovering that everyone has something special to offer.

Written in lively rhyme and full of warmth and humour, The Perfect Performance celebrates diversity, inclusion and the joy of recognising the unique strengths that every individual brings.

A wonderfully uplifting story that encourages children to cheer one another on and always believe in themselves.

During the session, the responsible adult(s) are very welcome to enjoy their favourite coffee and pastry downstairs at STAPLE or come and hang out upstairs in the bookshop!!

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.

Booking is essential — spaces are limited!
