Join author-illustrator Inky Willis at Happy Reading Children's Bookshop for a magical celebration of her adorable Scribble Witch series!

1pm - 1.45pm

Meet Molly and Notes, the tiny paper witch who lives in a pen pot, and dive into a wonderfully funny world where doodles come to life, ordinary school days become extraordinary adventures, and a little bit of magic can sometimes cause a bit of mischief!

Perfect for readers aged 6–9, this interactive event combines storytelling, drawing and creativity in a celebration of one of the most imaginative new chapter book series around.

Filled with laugh-out-loud moments, heartwarming friendships and wonderfully expressive illustrations, the Scribble Witch books celebrate imagination, resilience and the magic that can be found in even the most ordinary school day.

Perfect for newly independent readers who love humour, doodling and a sprinkle of magical chaos.

During the session, the responsible adult(s) are very welcome to enjoy their favourite coffee and pastry downstairs at STAPLE or come and hang out upstairs in the bookshop!!

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.

Booking is essential — spaces are limited!
