Join Ramsgate Carnival as it celebrates its 103rd anniversary

On the Saturday, 10am- 8pm, visit the Fair at Government Acre with stalls and rides and watch the Giant's Parade, with spectacular visiting Giant puppets from all over Kent, processing around the Fairground at 3pm.

The Fair continues all weekend and the Main Carnival Parade takes place on the Sunday, leaving from Government Acre, following a circular route through the town and harbour.

Since last year the route has been shortened to make it easier for participants on foot, since motorised floats are less common nowadays.

This also makes for a more visually exciting parade, since it means there are now fewer gaps between each presentation - check the updated route map to find your ideal spot to watch!

Route: Start Government Acre, St Augustine's Road, Royal Parade, Harbour Street, Queen Street, West Cliff Road and finish Government Acre
