Seen as an alternative to Cowes Week, with a full programme of racing off the coast of Ramsgate
Ramsgate Week, hosted by the Royal Temple Yacht Club.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy refreshments and breathtaking views from Royal Temple Yacht Club. Take a break from all the action, or wander around the beautiful Harbour and admire all the different vessels and crafts.
Ramsgate week is often referred to as a friendly alternative to Cowes Week, which is one of the longest running regular regattas in the world and takes place on the Solent, near the Isle of Wight.
Competitors from France, Holland, Belgium and the UK will be taking part.
Look out too for afternoon and evening music performances.
The Royal Temple Yacht Club was founded in 1857 by a group of yachtsmen sailing from the Temple Steps on the river Thames.
The first Ramsgate Week Regatta was launched in 1898.
