Sporefaring Mushroom Festival

A weekend of discovery, inspiration and fun... all about the incredible world of fungi!

A popular annual event in Thanet dedicated to all things fungi.

The majority of festival events will be across three main venues: Ark Cliftonville, Margate Arts Club and Gather& in Ramsgate.

Hosted by Margate Mushrooms, the festival offers a packed itinerary celebrating mushrooms and fungi through art, food, and science.

Highlights of the weekend typically include:

* Mushroom Market - browse and shop for a variety of mushroom-related products

* Workshops & Talks - learn the basics of mushroom cultivation, foraging, and even mushroom ink printing.

* Culinary Events - Experience special mushroom-inspired menu items crafted by local Thanet and Margate restaurants.

* Wellness & Music - Listen to expert panel discussions, attend healing circles, and enjoy live music and evening events.
