Join Nicci at Happy Reading Children’s Bookshop in St Peters for a ROAR-some Book Club as we discover the first in a lovely new series by Swapna Haddow!

8.30am - 9am

Perfect for readers aged 5–7, enjoy reading together before taking part in fun, dinosaur-themed creative activities inspired by this heartwarming story.

Full of humour, friendship and BIG dinosaur-sized feelings, this delightful first chapter book is perfect for children growing in confidence as independent readers.

Event duration: approx. 30 minutes
Ticket price: £5 per child (includes a paperback copy of the book, usually £7.99)
Booking is essential — spaces are limited!

The bookshop is on the first floor, accessed via a flight of stairs.

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.

Adults may stay for the event (limited seating available) or relax with a coffee and pastry downstairs in Staple.
