Join Nicci at Happy Reading Children’s Bookshop in St Peters for a cosy Book Club as we discover Little Acorn by award-winning creator Adam Stower!

8.30am - 9am

Perfect for children aged 3–6, enjoy an interactive storytime together before taking part in a fun, book-inspired creative activity celebrating friendship, courage and the wonders of the natural world.

Full of warmth, humour and beautiful illustrations, Little Acorn is a reassuring story about embracing new adventures and discovering that sometimes the most wonderful things happen when we step outside our comfort zone.

Suitable for children aged 3-6
Event duration: approx. 30 minutes
Ticket price: £5 per child (includes a paperback copy of the book, usually £7.99)
Booking is essential — spaces are limited!

The bookshop is on the first floor, accessed via a flight of stairs.

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.

Adults may stay for the event (limited seating available) or relax with a coffee and pastry downstairs in Staple.
