Ges joined the Trust for Thanet Archaeology in 2003, and has now spent 23 years directing excavations for the Trust and researching the Archaeology of the Isle of Thanet.
In this talk Ges will highlight many of the groundbreaking discoveries of archaeological sites and artefacts that were made by the Trust, and outline how his landscape research has revealed Thanet’s long story from formation to the present day.
Whether you are a keen archaeologist, local history enthusiast or simply curious about the history of Thanet, this promises to be a fascinating afternoon.
