The Masonics are the Kings Of Medway Beat, known for being ‘the best Rhythm and Beat combo since The Milkshakes’, and there’s a very good reason for that…With Mickey Hampshire (The Milkshakes, Mickey And The Salty Seadogs, Mickey And Ludella, Mick Hampshire), Bruce Brand (The Pop Rivets, The Milkshakes, Auntie Vegetable, Thee Headcoats, The Kravin’ “A”s, The Clique, Dutronc, The Voo-Dooms and more) and John Gibbs (The Wildebeests, The Kaisers), this Medway-based trio fire rhythm ’n’ beat and rock ’n’ roll!

Their set includes all the best from the golden age of television. 60s themes like Batman, UFO, and Stingray. 70s themes like Magpie, The Sweeney, and Minder. The set also includes tunes that have re-surfaced recently, like the Doctor Who theme, or the Man In A Suitcase theme which became the theme to Chris Evans’ T.F.I.Friday.The band also celebrates the music of great film & TV composers like John Barry (The Persuaders, The James Bond Theme and You Only Live Twice), Gerry Anderson stalwart Barry Gray (Stingray, Fireball XL5 and Space:1999), and ITC legend Edwin Astley (Danger Man, Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) and Department S).
