Halloween at the Coast

It's the time of year for ghosts, witches, bats and carving pumpkins. Celebrations and events this year may be slightly different but there's still lots of Halloween fun to be had around Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate...

Pick out your pumpkin for carving or eating at Quex Activity Centre’s Pumpkin Picking and Trick or Treat Trail.  What will you carve - a bat, cat, or scary face? For the more adventurous, head into the scary woods (not really) to meet the creepy characters and survive their tricks.

Take a different approach to Trick or tt reating this year with the Thanet Pumpkin Trail. Look out for the pumpkins in shop or house windows, and when you find one, your adult will reward you with a treat! Or roam amongst the hay bales at Under 1 Roof to pick your own pumpkin and pose with the friendly scarecrows.

Get crafty with Pick 'n' Paint a Pot - painting a plate, bowl, mug or a range of animals and money banks or join an online session with Powell-Cotton Museum's Beastly Bones and Curious Creatures

Head to Margate's Shell Grotto and Caves on Halloween for some Trick or Treat fun - kids go free during Half Term!
