Limbo is a not for profit artist-led organisation established in 2003 to provide affordable work spaces for locally based artists. They also have a project space, which hosts an experimental and dynamic programme of curated events including exhibitions, workshops and talks.
They are situated just off Margate High Street in an old industrial building that is attached to an electricity sub-station. The building has a rich heritage being once a coach house for a local brewery and later housing DC equipment powering trams around Margate and providing power to Dreamland.
